Cable Copilot Terms of Service

Cable Copilot is an online service operated by Cable Copilot, a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom.

In these Terms, “Cable Copilot”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Cable Copilot service.

By creating an account, accessing or using Cable Copilot, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use Cable Copilot.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use paid services provided through Cable Copilot.

Cable Copilot provides an AI-powered information and assistance platform designed to help users explore questions and information relating primarily to cable jointing and associated technical subjects.

We may update, modify, add or remove features from Cable Copilot from time to time.

Cable Copilot is an informational assistance tool and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgement, formal training, approved procedures, manufacturer instructions, site-specific risk assessments or applicable laws, regulations and safety requirements.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate for a particular situation.

You are responsible for independently checking information obtained through Cable Copilot before relying upon or acting on it.

Where work involves electrical systems, high voltage equipment or other potentially hazardous activities, you must ensure that appropriate competent persons, procedures, safety precautions and applicable regulations are followed.

You must not rely solely on Cable Copilot when making decisions that could affect the safety of people, property or electrical systems.

You remain fully responsible for decisions, actions and work undertaken based on information obtained through the service.

Some features require you to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

You must not share access to your account in a manner that allows unauthorised users to access paid features.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

Cable Copilot may offer different plans with different levels of access.

Starter Plan

Pro Plan

Cable Copilot currently offers the following Pro subscription options:

Unused AI question allowances do not carry forward to the following month.

We may change our plans, features or pricing in the future. Any changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable law and, where appropriate, communicated to affected users.

Payments and subscription management are processed through our third-party payment provider, Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Stripe to collect the applicable subscription fees using your chosen payment method.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the relevant renewal date, subject to the cancellation options available through your subscription management portal.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal made available through your Cable Copilot account.

Where a subscription is cancelled at the end of a billing period, access to Pro features will normally continue until the end of the applicable paid subscription period.

If a subscription ends, is cancelled or payment is unsuccessful, access to Pro features may be removed or restricted.

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable.

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have.

Cable Copilot may provide links to third-party websites, resources, publications or other information.

These materials are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

You should review the terms, conditions and privacy policies of any third-party service you access.

The Cable Copilot platform, including its branding, design, software and original content, is owned by or licensed to Cable Copilot and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use Cable Copilot for your personal or internal professional use in accordance with these Terms.

Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee that Cable Copilot will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may occasionally need to suspend access for maintenance, updates, security reasons or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for losses arising solely from temporary interruptions to the availability of the service, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to the above, Cable Copilot will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

You acknowledge that Cable Copilot provides AI-generated and informational content which may contain errors or omissions and that you are responsible for independently verifying information before relying upon it.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice before permanently terminating an account.

You may stop using Cable Copilot at any time.

Cable Copilot is an evolving service. We may modify, update or discontinue features from time to time.

Where changes materially affect an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice where required.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be published on the Cable Copilot website.

Where changes are significant, we may take reasonable steps to notify registered users.

Continued use of Cable Copilot after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of Cable Copilot will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
